The SAMs swap meet held on Memorial Day weekend was a big success. The weather was perfect, and the event had great participation. Many members picked up new planes, and the club raised some funds to help support us into the future.

SAMs has applied for FRIA status for the club field. This means that when the Remote ID requirements come into full effect later this year, we will not have to use remote ID devices on our models while flying at SAMs. Further updates will be posted when the FAA updates our application.
